Nobody publishes prices in Moroccan adventure travel, which is why everyone asks. The reason is that the same trek is quoted at wildly different numbers depending on group size, season and whether you found the operator through a hotel concierge.
So here is the actual structure of what things cost, in Moroccan dirham with euro equivalents, along with how long each takes. Part 2 covers the desert, the cities and the cultural activities.
Two notes before the numbers:
Guide fees are per group, not per person. A licensed mountain guide costs the same whether there are two of you or seven. This is the single biggest lever on per-person cost and almost nobody explains it.
Prices rise in October and April — the two peak months — and fall in summer and midwinter. The ranges below span that swing.

Day rates fall sharply per person as the group grows: a private day for two costs roughly what a private day for six costs, divided differently.
Toubkal
The most-asked-about objective in the country.

The two-day version works but the three-day is substantially more likely to succeed. Altitude, not fitness, is what turns people back, and one extra night above 2,500 m changes the odds considerably.
Not included, typically: the national park entry, tips (100–150 MAD per day per group for the guide, 50–80 for the muleteer), and any gear rental.

Supported multi-day treks include: licensed guide, cook, mules and muleteers, all meals, tents or gîtes, and transport from Marrakech. They exclude tips, personal gear and drinks.
Per-day arithmetic: a supported trek runs roughly 1,100–1,600 MAD (€105–150) per person per day in a group of four to six. Below four people the per-day rate climbs sharply, because the guide, cook and vehicle cost the same regardless.
Ski touring and splitboarding
Season: January to early April, best in February–March.

Rental in Morocco: touring skis, skins and boots run 250–400 MAD (€24–38) per day in Imlil or Oukaimeden. Transceiver, probe and shovel 100–150 MAD per day.
Splitboards are not rentable in Morocco in any reliable way. Bring your own, with spare hardware.
A note on the guide ratio: winter and ski guiding runs at a lower ratio than summer trekking — typically one guide to four or five, rather than one to eight. That is a safety standard, not an upsell, and it is reflected in the price.

Quality of the rental fleet varies enormously between operators. Ask what bike, what year, and whether there is a mechanic with the group. On a multi-day ride those answers matter more than the price.
What actually drives the price
Group size, more than anything. Guide, cook, mules and vehicle are fixed costs. Two people pay the same total as six and divide it between two.
Season. October and April carry a 20–30% premium. February and June are the value months in the mountains.
Private versus joining a group. A scheduled group departure runs roughly 40–50% cheaper per person than the same trip run privately.
Accommodation standard. A trek sleeping in village gîtes costs less than the same route with a full camping crew, and is often the better experience.
What is normally excluded
Read any quote for these:
- Tips — real and expected: 100–150 MAD per day for the guide, 50–80 for the muleteer, from the group as a whole
- Drinks other than water and tea
- Personal gear rental
- Travel insurance with mountain cover — check that yours covers activity above 4,000 m, because many policies stop at 3,000
- National park fees where applicable
- International flights
The rough answer
If you want a single figure to plan against:
- A guided day in the mountains: 400–700 MAD per person
- Toubkal done properly: 3,500–5,500 MAD per person over three days
- A supported multi-day trek: 1,100–1,600 MAD per person per day
- A ski touring week: 9,000–14,000 MAD per person
Everything above assumes a group of four to six. In a pair, add roughly 40%.
